Industry Award Categories

Development Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a development firm whose primary business is development which can include: ownership, asset management or investment in commercial real estate. Northern Nevada development firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

Architecture Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes an architecture firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada architecture firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given disciple. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

General Contracting Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a general contracting firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada general contracting firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

Subcontracting Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a subcontracting firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada subcontractors have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

Engineering Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes an engineering firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada engineering firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a commercial real estate brokerage firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada commercial real estate brokerage firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm/Division must be a current CREDA member.

Financial Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a financial firm that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada financial firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm must be a current CREDA member.

Commercial Property Management Firm of the Year:
This category recognizes a third-party commercial property management firm, or division, that has contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. Northern Nevada commercial property management firms have adapted to our current business climate and/or have created new methods for continued success within its given discipline. This firm, or division, has also distinguished itself within CREDA, through community involvement and by various industry achievements. At least one executive of the Firm/Division must be a current CREDA member.

Developing Leader of the Year:
This category recognizes a young professional who has distinguished themselves in their profession and within CREDA. They also show promise as a future leader of the local commercial real estate industry and within the community. This award is designed for a CREDA member who is 35 years old or younger as of the end of the submission period.  Each applicant must be a current CREDA member in good standing and previous Developing Leader winners are not eligible to apply.

Commercial Broker of the Year (Office, Industrial, and Retail):
This category recognizes an individual or team of commercial real estate professionals that have contributed to the continued success of the local real estate community. This person or team sets the benchmark as commercial real estate experts and have distinguished themselves within CREDA, throughout our community, and by various other industry achievements.  At least one member of the team must be a CREDA member.
